Your favourite earrings

I had my ears pierced as a child but let them close up as I kept on getting infections from cheap earrings. Now I am older (if not wiser) and decided to get them pierced again 3 months ago. Everything seems fine except for - I can't find any earrings I like! When I didn't have pierced ears I seemed to always see lovely earrings so where have they gone?? I only have the studs put in at the piercing so I am starting from scratch. I like gold but maybe also something a little bit dangly, not too heavy. Please inspire me with some lovely earrings.

Well my favourite earrings I’ve had since I was 16 so approximately 40 years so I’m not sure that’s very helpful!!!
Do you ever go to craft fairs/markets? That’s definitely where I see some stunning earrings. Made of proper gold or silver, not rubbish metals. Often unique/one offs. Might be worth having a look at Etsy or similar

What’s your budget?

I only wear gold as silver doesn't suit me. I have a few pairs that I love from Monica Vinader. My favourites that I wear most days are these (now discontinued), and I also got these ones recently and really like them.

I wear cheap earrings but in stainless steel. I usually wear small gold coloured studs. Currently wearing some cute lotus flower studs.

Following with interest as I've also had mine re-pierced after a long break - as a stop gap I've popped in some god studs & hoops from our local jewellers but they "aren't me" at all, very bland and uninspiring- I need something with a bit more character and quirk. Searching in vein, must be gold or silver I think......

Thanks for the suggestions! I have found some I like on this site:
https://agapee.com/ Does anyone know them?

I have a pair similar to these which I find endlessly useful. They make a dull outfit look pretty and can be dressed up or down.

This is one I came across that gave me that vibe.

I repierced my ears a couple of years ago after about 20 years of not wearing earrings. I bought a couple of pairs of stainless steel studs initially, and pretty much everything else has come from craft markets- sort of higher end ones, and also Anna Calvert or Alys Power.

I like Nue Hoops - you buy a pair of plain hoops and then they sell charms that hang off them so you can change them around to ring in the changes. I have gold and silver hoops and then a wardrobe of charms - means people know what to buy me for birthdays and Christmas. https://nuehoops.com/#
