Help me find a trendy cool top to wear with white linen trousers for a day party.

I have a great pair of tailored white linen trousers which I want to wear to a day drinks party. I need a stylish top - need the tops of my arms covered - I am a pale red head - any ideas. Budget up to £150. I am 5'3 and a size 10. Inspire me please. I love an over-sized shirt look - on others - but they alway look shit on me.....

Are the trousers button up and pleated? Wide leg or straight? I like a crisp blue striped blouse, like this one. Some nice jewellery, like a cuff and chunky ring...

I know it is trendy to wear things loose and boxy, but I'm a tucker! I like to see waist definition, especially on shorter women (including me).

They are wide leg button up - no pleats or pockets (dont need the extra bulk) - thats a lovely shirt. I wonder if I tuck if it will be seen through the trousers - thanks for the tips on accessories - I never think that thru'.

@Archert don't tuck - get a thin hair bobble and gather front of shirt together and wrap bobble around it then tuck underneath - front looks tucked and back just sits on the waistband

Look at Sezane. Lots of tops that would fit the bill

You can buy a waist band that you tuck the top into to give the tucked in look without actually tucking it in.
