My dd is getting married in 11 months. I've looked and looked and I can't see anything Wow enough.

Has anyone ever had a suit made? Where would I even start?

I had a couple of suits made for work in about 2002 (so a long time ago) cost around €400 each, including material, actually not that much more expensive today.
Have a look at the Shubumi website for inspiration. Also look locally for tailors/dressmakers.

It’s a pleasure.

One place I’m quite drawn to, judging by their off the peg suits, is

Alex Eagle Bespoke

I’ve only bought the odd thing there, years ago, but I’d definitely be looking if I wanted a suit made to measure. (I daresay the price might be slightly elevated because it’s a niche fashion brand, but I’d rather that than a cardboard classic cut.)
