Ultrasonic plaque removers

Can anyone recommend one? I use an electric toothbrush and floss a bit (teeth close together so not easy) but seem to be genetically prone to plaque build up behind my bottom teeth, i really dislike going to the dentist so would like to try and keep on top of this at home.
Won't be skipping check up's but rather not go to the hygienist.

The ultrasonic equipment used in a dentist costs thousands of pounds . Anything you can buy will be either useless or damaging as there is no way a battery operated cleaner will in any way be effective.

The way around this is to clean effectively. Tartar is just hard plaque , to prevent tartar you have to get rid of the plaque before it gets hard , it takes at least 24 hours before plaque starts to go hard so , in other words , if you cleaned the plaque off at least once a day you would get no tartar.

Are you using interdental brushes every day? Do you push your tooth brush right down behind the front teeth right onto the gum? Has the hygienist shown you how to clean effectively? Are you using a small toothbrush? Have you tried disclosing tablets?
