Practical but stylish?

Hi, I'm going on holiday soon and need some outfit advice. We'll be doing lots of walking through woods and countryside, but also stopping at cafes along the way. It looks like it will be pretty warm too.
My DH will happily wear the same walking trousers and tshirt for every situation, but I’d prefer to look a bit nicer, ideally something practical but still a bit stylish and not look like a small man in hiking gear!

I'm 5ft3, pretty skinny and 40.

Would a hiking dress work for you? Decathlon have several and one or two are prints rather than plain colours. The Decathlon website also shows lots of Regatta sports dresses - many, but not all are Orla Kiely prints. I think they're less practical, but probably more ornamental - but then I care mainly about functionality and I'd be wearing shorts or cropped trousers!

If hiking dresses appeal I'm sure there are also more expensive brands, but Decathlon is usually very good value.
