I’ve seen some great suggestions on this board so hoping someone can help me.

I’m looking for a dress to wear to a wedding – it will be very relaxed and so the dress does not need to be formal. I would even consider a playsuit. I wouldn’t want anything too boring, ideally a bit vintagey or a kind of pretty style. Hopefully, a dress that is reasonably practical for running after the kids! The only ‘must’ is that it needs to have long sleeves down to the wrist.

I’m only 5”1, wear a dress size 6 and late 30s. I have brown hair and tanned skin. My budget is ideally no more than 200.

Something like this from the Rixo archive? (I am not sure if the link will work because you have to use email address to access the archive, so I'll screenshot a photo to add too) https://rixolondon.com/products/olimani-lily-trail-peach-blossom

Thank you for these suggestions. Although I do really like the patterns on the Palava website, I think the dresses are maybe too structured - I would prefer something a bit softer and flowy.

I like the colours of the Rixo dress, although I am small chested so not sure how well it would fit me. It looks like it would be cool in the summer heat.

I should have added - that a petite size would fit me best.

GANNI | Jacquard Organza Mini Dress | Black | FRASERS

Something like this would be great - but I don't want to wear black

In that case you should probably look at

Sister Jane

Some of their dresses are less structured.

I LOVE quite a few of the Sister Jane dresses. Thanks I had never heard of that brand before.
