Box colour for greys

I’m a natural mousey blonde/light brown and have loads of grey coming through around my hairline. Colouring it at the hairdressers doesn’t last long before the greys are obvious, and spray on root concealer isn’t cutting it anymore. I want to dye it myself but a) would love recommendations for something that actually covers the grey and b) something not too harsh on my hair. Thanks

I use Garnier nutrisse which is ok. Does the job.

I use L'Oreal. My hair colour sounds similar to yours, maybe a tiny bit darker, but I have a lot of grey. Iced chocolate or iced mocha might work.

The trick to the grey though is to really really work hard at covering it. I apply to the roots, rub in with my fingers, then repeat. YOu need to see it actually going gloopy on the grey before you move to colouring the rest of your hair. You sound like you're still in early stages of grey coverage so doing this once, or possibly twice, should be sufficient.

I use Garnier, or L'oreal for my mum and they last a few months each! look lovely too!

I usually buy 2 slightly different coulours, use the lightest one and some foils first to give some highlights, then use the slightly darker but still blonde shade to do a colour wash on the rest of it!

Interesting, thank you. I might look into this to break up the block colour.
