Red trousers?

Are they popular at the moment or have I just seen three fashion renegades?

When I say 'red' I mean bright red. They're not something I would have ever considered buying or wearing but lately I've seen 3 ladies, none of them under 50, wearing bright red trousers and they look fantastic. One lady wore a red trouser suit with a pale pink top and mid block heel shoes and she looked stunning. I'm seriously thinking of going for it.

I have a bright red trouser suit with wide leg trousers. I tend to wear it with a white t shirt and white trainers and I always get compliments on it. I never thought I’d have the confidence to pull it off but I feel amazing when I do wear it! I wear the trousers without the blazer as well - again usually with a white tshirt and either trainers or sandles, or I wore it with a cream jumper once and that looked great.

Definitely going to try with a pink top now you’ve said that!

I think the wide legged bright red trousers look amazing! I have been coveting a pair for a while now. Which ones are you thinking of buying?

Over 50 have a bright red pair from M&S and they are my favoruite trousers.

I think alot of younger women tend to play it safer, when you get to over 50 you just dont give a fudge anymore!
Red trousers sound awesome though, go for it!

(Im sadly lacking in the red trouser dept. But am over 50 and wearing cropped, wide legged leopard print trousers today!).

That sounds like a great colour combination, I can really picture it. What you say about confidence to wear it, that's how I feel. Will I feel too conspicuous? But at the same time all I thought when I saw these three women was WOW!

I am 51 and just bought some bright red trousers from Boden in the sale...cropped but they are almost full length on me. They look fantastic and I am looking forward to wearing them

I'm going to have a look on line and then go and try some on in person. The wide leg ones do stunning, so classy, but I need to find out if they suit my shape. I've always been a tapered or straight legged sort of person.
