Jumpsuit:

Which Spanx do I need for this jumpsuit please?

I’ve got an identical jumpsuit to that and it’s very forgiving, made don’t Spanx yourself! Just the thought of them gives me a tummy ache

Cyanometer · 04/07/2025 22:00

😄

I thought I'd get Spanx with a low back as this is sometimes showing my bra.

It looks like a super casual jumpsuit in a stretchy relaxed material. I think you'd be mad wear Spanx with it.. I'd size up so it's really slouchy.

boulevardofbrokendreamss · 05/07/2025 04:39

it doesn’t look like something that should be worn with spanks! It looks lovely and soft and comfy

neverhappenedtopablopicasso · 05/07/2025 08:41

I came on here to say don't wear Spanx under ANY jumpsuit if you might ever need a wee....but that one, specifically, is a comfy loungewear suit made for watching Sort Your Life Out with Stacey Solomon and a bag of Tyrrels Sweet Chilli.

dudsville · 05/07/2025 08:46

I agree with everyone else.

Doggymummar · 05/07/2025 14:00

It looks really loose, but my preference is the onion ring. I don't know what's it's really called, I just googled spanx onion ring.

Ihopeyouhavent · 05/07/2025 14:42

Without knowing your size, particular issue (upper, lower tummy etc) and preferences for fit how would we now?

viques · 05/07/2025 14:43

Spanx and a jumpsuit! I hope you have excellent bladder control.

Excuse me? Don’t you mean Tyrell’s truffle?

FishPie2 · 05/07/2025 15:45

M & S do a body suit that you wear with your own bra and it has a velcro gusset.
I do wear it under mine as I need tummy control.

dottyaboutstripes · 05/07/2025 16:02

The whole point of that jumpsuit is comfort. Spanx negates that!

MooseBeTimeForSnow · 05/07/2025 16:10

The low back Spanx bodysuit I have has an open gusset. That’s negated though if you have to take the jumpsuit off to pee!

FishPie2 · 05/07/2025 16:30

Jump suits are not all baggy. I have a beautiful fitted one which does need a little support around my tummy area IMO and don't have a problem with a velcro gusseted body suit or high waisted pants type.

Cyanometer · 05/07/2025 16:53

Oh, I sort of see what a lot of you are saying, but at the same time, I wanted to feel great and not show off my bra.

Also, good point about the Velcro gusset, thank you.

I have this jumpsuit, and your right, about an inch of my bra shows in the back V... I wear a black bra with this - jumpsuit is black.
I don't have a flat stomach, and have a DD chest.. it looks fine without Spanx or any sort if support underwear... I even have a wide elasticated belt that I sometimes wear with it, or an oversized shirt if I want to cover up up... enjoy the comfort!

Cyanometer · 05/07/2025 17:54

It's a shame because the back of the jumpsuit is a lovely shape, just a bit too deep really.

Wonder who designed this.

I have this jumpsuit in the moss colour. Wore it to ABBA Voyage last weekend as it was so hot! No to spanx. Its oversized so don't size up or its drown you.
I got mine in the 30% off sale too.

That is extremely specific! 😄

deedeemegadoodoo · 06/07/2025 05:45

I’ve a similar one from Mint Velvet. It’s so comfy so don’t wear Spanx. Could you wear a strappy vest underneath with built in bra instead?

TheDowagerLadyUrsula · 06/07/2025 08:19

In the nicest possible way, OP, looking at the style if it’s unforgiving in the tummy area then it is too small. I think if you try the next size up it will solve your problem.

No, it's definitely not too small 😄, I was wondering if it might be too big! But I think that people are right about this being a slightly slouchy style. I just wanted a smoother silhouette.

Sloggi control pants are the best ever for a bit of tummy control and smoothing without a thick layer of sweaty material like spanx.
