Salt Water

My favourite summer sandals have just died and I’m looking for something new. I love the look of classic Salt Water sandals, however they don’t seem to offer much support. Are they actually comfortable? I know they’re really popular and, at least from an aesthetic perspective, I can see why.

I have saltwater sandals and they are pretty comfy but I mainly use them for holiday as they can go on the beach, can wear them at night etc. I prefer Birkenstocks day to day at home as they offer more support.

They do ‘saltwater ‘swimmers’ which feel more forgiving with the thicker sole. If you do go down the saltwater route, I find the metallic leathers aren’t as comfortable as the others.

Thanks. The swimmers do look great. I’ll have to see if I can find a local stockist to try them.

I love Saltwaters but my feet are as flat as pancakes and I don't get on with birkenstocks as the arch support is just too much and in the wrong place (although am fine with the M&S version and some from TK Maxx). I have walked miles in Saltwaters without issue. They only improved after I went paddling in the sea.

Thanks. It sounds like these are exactly what I’m looking for.
