Bikini/tankini sets with shorts

Has anyone seen anything like this? They are for teen Dd.

She doesn’t want board shorts, or briefs, she wants form fitting bikini shorts, and a cropped vest type tankini top that is above the belly button.

We found something that was vaguely right in the Nike store, but she doesn’t want black or pink, and ideally not too sporty looking either
And we found some red shorts on the Next website, but they only had a bandeau bikini top to match with and she doesn’t want that either.

Everything else we have found is either from Shein (which I hate and refuse to support) or aimed at more mature/plus size women, and Dd is very much not curvy yet although she is tall - she wears mainly Primark and H&M size 2XS clothes.

So before I betray all my principles and shop at Shein, just wondered if anyone had seen anything in a proper uk based shop.

Yes, the M&S are the right sort of style, though sadly don’t come in a small enough size.

Hmm, I think she will think the Seafancy styles are all a bit too boring (I, on the other hand, might just treat myself…)

She basically wants cutesy ditsy floral type stuff, but not to just look as though she is walking round in her underwear, and not to have to wear a normal one piece swimming costume.
I suspect she is going to have to compromise somewhere.

I've got a couple of the bay swim shorts from white stuff. One I got the matching tankini for, the others are black so found a matching top elsewhere.

I couldn't find a matching set of crop top/tanking and shorts. Would your daughter consider Fatface? The swimwear models are mostly quite young... Best I could do was plain blue shorts, which could be paired with a bikini top that leans towards crop top and might work (removable padding, high percentage lycra - I'd give it a go and I'm a 34A and loathe standard bikini tops) or with blue paisley tankini or blue geometric patchwork tankini (both tankinis are probably a bit long for your daughter's taste and possibly too staid).

I've bought similar shorts from Sports Direct and Decathlon in the past and I'm sure I saw some in Bravissimo fairly recently. Not exciting designs though, mostly black but that's fine with me. No idea about tops though as I usually wear my shorts over a 'normal' swimsuit.

I’ve seen quite a few new (I think reseller) sets on Vinted by Jasambac which might fit the bill.

Have a look at Finisterre. Their swimwear is aimed at surfers and they have a couple of shorts with matching tops and go down to size six.

Thank you for all the suggestions. I don’t think we are going to find exactly what she wants, but we have had a look at all the links and will go and try some things on in person at the weekend.
