Do you like this jacket?

This French connection jaquard jacket keeps popping on my FB nonstop.
I thought its floral pattern but upon closing in it is not floral pattern at all.
Do you like it or does feel too smart suite / office style? - it's not a typical denim jacket but a cropped boxy style jacket with a zip.
I'm into a casual style with trainers and jeans, i never wear smart clothing as have no occasions.

To me it looks like a bleached denim jacket, so I’d not say smart or office style.

So yeah, i keep looking at it and it getting slowly sold out, my size still available..

It’s definitely a casual jacket.

It has some rough patches all over like smooth vs rough.. I just thought the boxy cropped style may look like part of suite..definitely don't want that..

Only cos of the style, it's rather cropped and doesn't really looks like a proper denim jacket.

I think anything denim falls into the casual bracket regardless of cut.

This year’s denim jackets are either cropped and boxy or oversized and slouchy.

There was a thread a while back about the denim jacket/midi dress combo feeling dated and posters were saying it’s the fitted denim jacket that made it dated.

Personally I love my fitted denim jackets and will not revisit my ’80s teen years with any acid wash/snow wash boxy or slouchy versions!

I like the style with the zip but not the pattern. I would skip this and find a different cropped jacket.

Yeah, I'm not keen on fitted ones at all. I prefer loose, slouchy ones. I agree fitted ones are dated.

It's the pattern what actually caught my eye. I prefer patterned ones with something on it like printed or embellished..just different -hence I keep looking on it.

Honestly, @Julycomingg - why not get off FB and try to structure some nice occasions into your real life? Then you won’t be sidetracked by hideous wallpapered denim jackets.

They’ll add more off with this one I suspect

And definitely NOT smart/to wear as part of a suit.

I must admit I do like it actually.
It gives me Madonna / YSL/ Chanel luxe vibes.
I actually have seen it in John Lewis last week and it was still at a full price.
The material is pretty thick and heavy, defo not like ordinary flimsy denim jackets and it’s lined too inside.

Really good quality IMO.
