Cool cotton bras!

Normally wear M and S but they look so blah! Can anyone suggest a good place to buy cotton bras from for this hot weather please. I’m average size, not looking for something huge or super pricey. Just simple, pretty, maybe a lace trim whatever but cool and cotton. Thanks

'Cotton bra' always makes me think 'Miss Mary of Sweden'. Have you looked there?

StarlightLady · 29/06/2025 16:11

Cotton has no stretch. Others may disagree but l think you are more likely to see a unicorn. Sorry!

Miss Mary of Sweden is definitely your best bet but can be pricey .

Miss Mary is only if you need a strapping bra..

Amazon sell sloggi cotton ones and some German brand I’ve bought before. Community clothing do them also. Skims do I think, and there’s a Danish organic brand that does.. all of these for small to medium breasts I’d say, as quite slight. They put a bit of Lycra in - like a t-shirt- so they do stretch

I had this issue with DD, heading off for a month in Africa. I felt sure that M&S used to do them; try Sloggi (you might have to get them via Amazon).

Bon Prix do them.

I have some I bought years ago from Sainsburys. I love them.

Miss Mary cotton bras are fantastic. The cotton dots one is very cool (as in, lets the air through) and is one of their less busty styles. Not cheap though, sadly, or I’d have more than one…

Thanks all I am not familiar with Miss Mary so will take a look but I did want something I can see and try on. I used to get them in M and S with no trouble but they are very uninspiring this year!

Thanks for the tip, their sizing gave me a headache but I will persevere!
