Dye question result

I want to dye this very pale butter yellow dress another colour.... it doesn't work for me. Its 100% cotton poplin fabric.

I love grey, pale grey best, also charcoal grey....

Would this work? Any tips???

Dying clothes is an adventure! You have to be relaxed about the result.

The fabric should take up the dye very well but its impossible to say what the resulting shade will be.

Also bear in mind that the stitches round the button holes may not absorb the dye at all.

I dyed a white dress purple and the stitching stayed white. I loved the effect and it got a lot of compliments ☺️
