Unfolded - just inefficient or actively a scam?

Ordered two dresses with lead time of 4-5 weeks. Ok I thought. I’ll try it. It’s now 8 weeks and I’ve had a couple of emails , neither of which were about both dresses so really not clear if one has even been sent. One may? Be in transit. I’m getting really fed up. I fell like they hope you forget you ordered it! There’s having a different business model and then there is having no business model!

Where did you order them from? Does the website have any trust pilot reviews? That’s usually my go to if I’m looking at a website I’ve not used before.

I think they’re fantastic and everything I’ve ordered has been great. One item was longer than the (long) time advertised because of a quality issue in the factory.
They’re definitely not a scam.

I ordered a dress. 12 weeks later. Looked bloody awful on so returned. Took a while to get a refund. Won’t be ordering again. That was my experience. X

I ordered some trousers and a skirt. The skirt took three months and when it arrived it was see through - really thin fabric and unlined. The trousers were just about okay. communication was awful. I’m not bothering ordering from them again.

Well if takes three months will defo be going back - summer will be over!

I've had a couple of things, which were fine. The whole point of them is that they're not fast fashion, to avoid waste. So they make to order, and I think 8 weeks for delivery is about average.
So you do need to plan ahead, but I would use them again. And their prices are very competitive.

They definitely aren’t a scam - I’ve had some good stuff from them. It isn’t meant to be fast fashion and I think some of their advertising is reaching audiences who are comparing them to eg H&M. But sounds like they are maybe struggling with capacity or quality control on specific issues. I didn’t like the lack of returns last year as sizing was hard to predict, so stopped ordering from them.
