Sun protection for head

I always get burnt down my parting on holiday from being in the pool/sea, so I’m looking for a SPF that won’t make my hair greasy. Haven’t tried any yet so open to suggestions please.

Sorry I don’t have a recommendation, but could you wear a hat? It would be better for your hair to not have the sun blazing down on it.

I'd love to know this too. The one thing I used to use was discontinued!

Would you consider a sunhat? You can get UV protective ones

You can get spf powder for scalp. I put it on my parting and at the hairline.

Yes I wear a hat, but I need something for swimming/ whizzing down the water slides with my son 😂

That sounds interesting. What one do you use?

I use this on mine and it seems to work well https://amzn.eu/d/cX7lqTy

I got a Malibu one that was pretty good on holiday; I still washed my hair each evening but I would normally after a day in the pool anyway and I reckon a bit of dry shampoo would have sorted it if I hadn’t washed it

I've got a Hawaiian Tropic one but there are a few different brands on amazon

I also use it on my children for in the pool

Calypso and Malibu are OK . The Solar sport one I used to use was used by cyclists and was brilliant. God knows what was in it that got it banned.

Does the powder not make the scalp dry out and look weird?

No, it's like putting translucent powder on your face I suppose.

Would a spf lip stick balm work ? You could draw it on.

I tend to clip back the centre part of my hair, either with grips or a small band.
