Thin hair won't grow

Does anyone know about taped hair extensions? I'm not young, but my hair has always been very fine and frizzy. Now I'm stuck. Have to keep it tied back as to thin and fine to leave loose. Hense my interest in apparently new type of taped hair extensions. How I long to leave my hair loose again! Any info appreciated.

Bed head Tigi small talk thickening cream.
Total game changer for thin hair.
Don’t extensions pull hair out more?
You should get iron levels and b12 checked, ferritin needs to be above 70 for healthy hair growth, lots of Drs don’t even know that, it’s frequently marked as ‘normal’ as low as 20. Also thyroid, folate & vitamin D can all affect hair growth.

Hi I have weft extensions and my own hair has grown loads while they are in.
I lost a lot of hair after being seriously ill in 2019 but I'm addicted to the extensions now I love them.
Id find a local salon that’s recommended/trusted for working on fine or thin hair and go for a consultation. Have a look at Claire Wareham on instagram, somewhere like that.

Everything @NotAntisocialJustSelectivelySocial says.

The Vitamin D effect can be particularly significant - I’ve noticed it myself during long periods spent in tropical countries.

But anything unnaturally attached to your hair will surely make the situation worse in the long term.

Best I can suggest is selling up and moving to the Caribbean …

I totally understand how frustrating it can be dealing with fine and frizzy hair, especially when all you want is to wear it down with confidence. I was in a similar situation last year and ended up trying taped extensions too. They honestly gave me such a boost! The trick is finding a quality brand and a stylist who really understands working with thin hair.

One thing that helped me was doing a lot of research before choosing the right type of tape-ins. Some can be too heavy or cause stress on already fragile strands, so it’s important to go with lightweight, gentle options. I found Bundle Head super helpful for that. They focus specifically on premium hair extensions for fine and thinning hair types, and their quality really made a difference in how natural the final result looked. You can click here to see what I mean.

Also, I second what others mentioned getting your vitamin and iron levels checked can’t hurt, and a consultation with a stylist who specializes in fine hair will help you figure out what’s safe and effective for your hair goals. Hope you get to wear it loose again soon, it’s such a good feeling!
