Holiday essentials

I am going away in July and for the first time ever actually have a little spare cash to spend on nice products. (Not crazy money but a step up from supermarket brands).

What are your holiday beauty essentials? Hair care for coarse wavy hair, an intensive moisturiser maybe for after the sun, some kind of lovely stay all day lip gloss.

Not even sure what I am looking for, it’s just nice to not have to look at every penny for once and buy the cheapest of everything.

Bonus if it smells nice and holiday-ish too!

Philip Kingsley swimcap and elasticizer for your hair.

Where are you going? France or Spain, wait until you get there. The pharmacies are a delight and most of their products will be aimed at sun protection or at least higher on the agenda than here

How about a small bottle of summery perfume? Marks and Spencer do little bottles and they're cheap enough to be generous with them!

Going to Cape Verde so I will definitely need to take toiletries, they are apparently pretty expensive over there as it's such a small island.

For body moisturiser I always buy a tub of Garnier Body Superfood (specifically the Avocado & Omega 6). It’s smells divine and always reminds me of holiday when I use it at home. And because it’s a nice big pot you can really slather it on.

For an every day, all day lipgloss I love Clinique Moisture Surge Lip Hydro-plump Treatment. It stays on for ages and I never leave home without it.

In also couldn’t live without La Roche Posay Anthelios for my face. I use it 365 days a year.

Thanks I will go and have a browse of those too!

Have a look at the Boots Cosmo box. You'll get a selection of things. I got one today and it's really good.
