"Soft" jewellery - where to find it?

I don't suit bright silver or gold or anything remotely blingy. I'm looking for "softer" metals/stones - something more muted, but still lovely. Rose gold, bronze type metals and stones like amber, smokey quartz, rose quartz, and no doubt some others I haven't thought of. I've found examples on Pinterest etc, but when I look for things to buy, I can't find quite what I want.

Does anyone else wear this kind of jewellery, and if so, where do you find it??

Post some examples of what you like and we can try to find it

I was looking for something I vaguely remember seeing but this copper cuff popped up instead. Is this close?

I’m seeing some nice enamel pieces as well.

This is not what I was thinking of, but I love it! And enamelled things is a good idea too, that I also hadn’t thought of. Thank you!

@DiligentStrawberry I've just looked back at the Pinterest things I'd seen and realised it was the general aesthetic of them that I liked rather than one individual things that I could show you.

I suppose I have a sort of "I'll know it when I see it" thing going on, which is spectacularly unhelpful, I know.

But in general it's things that softly sheen rather than brightly shine, like pearls (but not necessarily pearls, but that kind of finish) and metals that are not too shiny too, like bronze or rose gold, or that have been treated in a way that makes them less shiny, like a textured finish or something.

A lot of the things I've seen, I like the stone (say, amber or something like that) but then they are on a bright silver or gold chain or whatever.

Sorry, I know I'm being infuriatingly vague. 🙄

Monica Vinader has quite a few rose gold items in the sale at the moment. Most are quite delicate looking though... maybe you are after something chunkier.

Dorsya has some lovely summery gemstone jewellery if its your style...

No, I prefer delicate. Thank you, I'll take a look.

Having done some Googling, I think enamelled is the kind of thing I'm after! Thank you!

I love the colours and nature inspired designs of these pieces, for example.

I also think I need to get down to the charity shops and antiques places and have a good rummage. I think vintage is probably the way to go.

These aren’t all metals but some nice quirky earrings, necklaces and rings here. More casual and fun, maybe not what you’re looking for but thought you might want to look anyway!

Search for brushed or hammered rose gold, it looks more matte or textured.

Try antiques?? Age softens the golf a lot

Anything silver will tarnish to a grey colour very fast which might make it more wearable

Ooh, sea glass is a great suggestion, thank you!
