Push Up Bras that Shove It Up

Please can someone recommend a bra that actually lifts these fuckers. I can’t tighten the shoulder straps any more than I have - I think I am looking for something with flattish kind of cups?

All advice welcome.

The Hero from Ann Summers. The padded version only. It comes in larger sizes too, I'm a H in there and it looks amazing on.

Thanks @Nomorelabubus I’ll have a look. I am not very familiar with the Ann Summers stuff as when I last looked (decades ago) it was all really poor quality nylon.

Don't they say a balconette bra is the way to go if you want this ?

DiligentStrawberry · 27/06/2025 16:57

Thanks @Daisyvodka I think I am Bottom Heavy. The link has recommended plunge bras and balconettes.

Does anyone have ones they know work?

I am 32FF. Or sometimes 30G

Also a bottom heavy and (for various reasons) have started wearing corset. Combined with the right type of bra and there is a definite shove up effect Grin

Bonus has been complete eradication of back pain and an actual waist. I'm a bit evangelical about corsets now. Do take some getting used to but now I dont even feel them.

I am also bottom heavy - the boost me up bra from Curvy Kate will get them up by your chin, if you want cleavage they are also a good one to look at in the plunge section!

Up by my chin is the dream! I will definitely take a look.

@BobBobBobbing Where do you buy your corsets from? I’ve always thought they looked hot and uncomfortable but maybe this is a give-it-try moment for me.

I've used corset story. They regularly do 3 for 1, 4 for 1 or even 5 for 1. God alone knows how they make money but it's been fab as I get a selection for the price I'd spend on one and find the one that most suits me.

I would say be very honest with yourself about your size to get a good fit (no "well I'm nearly x") and give it a month to break in. I'm 3 month in and it has been a revelation (mainly back pain or the lack thereof). I've got a net one that I've used in the hottest days recently and felt no hotter than normal. (And I'm a grump when hot so do not tolerate being hot and sweaty). It did take a bit of breaking in but now I can bend, stretch etc and not notice- apart from at the end of the day I'm not curled in a ball sobbing with back ache like I was before. And my figure is fabulous Grin
