Help! had my first spray tan at 7pm today. She told me to leave it overnight but the smell is making me feel sick. If I wash it off before bed will it go blotchy? I’m a spray tan virgin so need your help! It’s a Bondi Sands tan…

You just need to leave it six hours and shower off. I did mine last night and showered it off this morning

It won't develop properly if you shower before six hours, the smell will last a couple of days, smells like biscuits

PhilosophicalCheeseSandwich · 26/06/2025 21:03

Leave it or you'll regret it. You'll still smell it even if you shower tonight, so it'll be lose-lose. Keep your bedroom window open.

How does it not rub off on the sheets?

It will rub off on the sheets. I sleep in old pyjamas and on a big beach towel to minimise transfer.
