Outdoor gig. Predicted temperature 35 degrees!

What can I wear? I am overweight by 15 kgs. Six feet tall. Pale. 53. I just want to look good and comfortable. I have nothing suitable and not a lot of cash to spend.

Help!

I'd go for a maxi skirt and tucked in baggy t shirt. I'd want air flow but also skin coverage at those temps (assuming you're in the blazing sun).

Yep maxi skirt in a natural fibre. T shirt with shoulders rather than a vest top. Hat.
Freeze a 2 litre bottle of water before hand - leave a gap in the top for expansion. Take the frozen bottle with you and cradle it like a baby. When the water melts you can drink it and/or pour some on a very thin scarf and wrap it round your neck or over your shoulders to cool yourself down.

Not a clothing suggestion but I went to a gig recently and lots of the youth there had those pretty Spanish food out fans. I’ve bought one and they’re fab at keeping you cool.
