It was brilliant when I was a 90s teenager, but not been in since. Saw they are really investing in beauty stuff, and I'm tempted to go back in. Anyone tried them? Superdrug is launching new Beauty Playgrounds in 30 stores | The Argus

I'm in a Superdrug at least once a week, not sure where I'd be without them!

I'm not sure why you have been avoiding Superdrug TBH.

I’m really not a fan and will always choose Boots instead! I find that Superdrug stores are often disorganised, poorly laid out and lack the same amount of variety + range of brands that Boots has. Staff are never very helpful either

Superdrug stock some fantastic make up ranges that aren't available elsewhere...I absolutely love M.U.A. and they are the only ones that stock it. A friend of mine who is a make up artist put me onto it.

I find Boots a lot more hit and miss. Unless you’re in a flagship store they can be rubbish. A small Superdrug will be much better than a small Boots.

In Westfield Stratford Boots is absolute carnage but Superdrug a few doors down is much calmer. I will still go to boots for the higher end brands though.

Our local one went through a phase of having a lot of
body sprays and not a lot much else, but seems to be upping its game.

Our local Boots is a big flagship one to be fair, renovated a few years ago and it’s been fantastic ever since. I agree the smaller/older Boots stores really aren’t great

Living rurally, I shop with Superdrug instead of Boots because their website actually works and their online pharmacy is brilliant. Haven't been in a store in ages though. Might have a look around next time I'm anywhere near a city.

Mollysocks · 25/06/2025 18:26

I went into my local Boots recently and it’s really gone down hill. Looks scruffy, stock missing, people have been using real products as samples, items in the wrong shelves and weirdly in the Estée Lauder section all the foundations are just empty bottles with hand scribbled labels ??? What am I meant to do with this, is this forcing me to speak to a rep so they can try and upsell me?

purpleme12 · 25/06/2025 18:31

I mean it's ok
Not amazing
Why don't you just go in and see!!
