There is a relatively new attachment for the dyson supersonic hairdryer that I'd really like to try, but it's not available in the UK. It was available in Singapore first, a few years ago, and for the past year or so, also in the US. But it's currently out of stock on the Dyson US site. I thought there might be other stores in the US that also carry it, and that might ship internationally, but my browser settings are making it hard to find.
It's called the Flyaway Smoother attachment, and it is NOT the same as the flyaway attachment that is available in the UK (which I already have). That one is just a curved piece that the air blows over. There are lots of fake ones available, and they usually say 'For Dyson' in the listings, rather than genuine Dyson, but I'd like to get a real one if possible.
Does anyone know of any US sites that would be good to order from, that might have it in stock, especially if the actual Dyson shop is out of stock?
(I saw it on the Singapore site but the price seemed much too expensive and I wasn't sure it was just the attachment! It is about $60 US, and most of the attachments when they are available here are around £30, so that's about what I'd expect of this one. Obviously there will be postage as well, but from the US that might be doable).
It might come to the UK eventually, but there doesn't seem to be any mention of it, and given that it's been out elsewhere for a couple of years now, I'm not sure how likely that is.
