Help for skew ear piercings?

I hope some Munsnetters will have ideas for me:

When I had my ears pierced as a young girl the lobes were very small. Well into middle age now, they have grown and you can see that one hole is too high and far forward; the other is well centred. When I wear my favourite studs or hoops it is particularly obvious.

Can you get a piercing sealed up and redone? Any other tips? TIA

I’ve had a piercing redone. I left an earring out of it for a year and they re-pierced it about 2mm higher. You can still see both holes but at least they are in line with each other now

Thanks very much, @MrsALambert Good to know.

I meant to post this in Style and Beauty. I’ve asked to move the thread

Yes you have to wear one earring only till the other one heals up, then get it repierced. I had to do this.
If you go to see a decent piercer (eg. in my experience one attached to a tattoo parlour rather than a beauty salon who caused the problem in the first place) they should be able to advise.

The perfect excuse to get a stacked lobe or constellation piercing!

Hopefully yours heal up, I have left my lobes without earrings in for years at a time though and the holes are still there and usable. Is there enough room to pierce another hole or would they be too close together? Sorry, not very helpful.

Oh this !!

I doubt anyone other than you would notice. Not many people look at you full on and even if they do, they won’t be looking at both your ear lobes at the same time.
