Dermatica, better than Skin&Me?

Currently using Skin&Me and while I’m happy enough with the results there’s something that really gets on my nerves with it. They don’t email you to warn you they’ll be taking payment on X date and if you want to amend then do it now.

I know it should be on me to check but I’ve had an absolute crapload of stuff going on including a family member with serious health issues that’s been taking up all of my time.

They took £50 out of my account on the 18th and I emailed same day to ask for it not to be dispatched and a refund issued but they’ve only replied today saying I can return the brightening serum at my own cost for a refund. I haven’t actually had the products delivered yet.

Any other service like this I’ve ever had gives you a heads up email. Does Dermatica do this?

Dermatica is subscription based. If you pause want to change the frequency or pause it for a while you can, but you have to give plenty of notice. I assumed Skin & Me worked in the same way.

Dermatica doesn’t give you a heads up either. I guess not in their interests to do so. I wouldn’t buy anything other than their prescription skincare from either of them.

Dermatica lets you pause - I've been paused since December as I'd had product left and wasn't sure I was seeing any improvement so I said I wanted a few months off. Now I'm sorting out HRT so I wanted time off for that too. They've been fine about it - of course I have no idea about what the price will be if and when I restart.
