I have a summer garden party soon and need ideas for a handbag which I will need to hold a decent amount of ‘essentials’.
I am wearing gold shoes and a cobalt blue hat.The dress was more than I wanted to spend so looking for a bag that’s not too spendy

is it too casual ?

Love it but think it sadly may be too causal with the gold shoes

I’m confused by your event, @midsumrevels!

To me a garden party is a daytime event - so a long evening dress would seem strange. And I can’t imagine wearing the dress you’ve linked with any sort of hat, at all.

The dress requires an ‘evening’ bag; not something capacious.

Sorry OP. I don’t think the fascination goes with the hat and the shoes which makes a handbag trickier. I’d ditch the fascinator and add a funky clutch.

What kind of garden party is it? Am guessing a very fancy one?
