Reformation Dress

Collective minds please help! DD is getting married next year and I’ve fallen in love with this dress from Reformation. It’s beautiful but very expensive.
I live in South Wales so I either order it or go to London to try it on (difficult but not impossible). I’ve read online that their dresses aren’t very good quality nor is their customer service good. Eeek! Also sizing?
Has anyone seen this dress in person? I’d love to know if it’s as beautiful as it looks.

I have several Ref dresses - they seem to make things in a way that really fits and suits me. By contrast, I've never found anything from Me&Em that didn't make me look like a boxy sack of potatoes.

The Ref fabric can seem quite thin but they are beautifully cut (that's what you're paying for) and manage to magically skim lumps and bumps. I've always found their service to be excellent. Go for it - if it doesn't work you can return for free.

Hmm…I find Reformation to be poorer quality fabrics and construction than I would expect for the price. It does depend on style and body composition but they are not good dresses to buy online I feel. I think I’ve sent every single dress I’ve bought from them online back - just so disappointing in person. The store is also a bit rubbish, very little stock and very few size options. So strange when considering the value of a store is to be able to see and try the products. For my money Realisation Par is a much better option. All the dresses are lovely, well made, silk (different weights), generally cheaper.

I'm not keen on it... personally it looks a little cheap. Like from China...

It's really pretty, but I'd worry it was a bit too bridesmaid and also that it's maybe exposing too much flesh for mother of the bride. I think there's probably a mid-ground between this and the usual Phase Eight and Hobbs suggestions and probably something less frightfully expensive too.

I also prefer realisation par, but I have a couple of reformation dresses, and they are nice. I think that one looks lovely. Though I disagree about them running small. I'm always a size smaller there than usual... not sure why my experience is different!
