Hi
I’ve mainly been a single mum since my children were very young, and financially, I always made sure my kids had everything they needed and more but kind of to the detriment of myself as in, I haven’t ever spent a lot on myself in recent years if that makes sense. And now I feel stuck in a rut. I tend to wear tea dress style dresses for ease really but I feel boring and I would really like to be a more stylish and put together but feel like because it’s been so long since I followed the trends Im so out of touch! I’m early 40s medium build size 12 and a bit busty. Where are you stylish bunch buying clothes from/getting your inspiration please?

I’ve seen everything on S&B from people who buy unidentified packages of used clothes by weight online, through to those whose handbags cost more than most people’s cars - so where you choose to shop really comes down to how much you want to spend.

And the sort of lifestyle you’re dressing for.

Would

Shopping for work wear, day to day/weekends away, evening drinks/family meals. And it can’t really break the bank as I’m single income household.

Thank you and I love these dresses but it’s kind of my go to style and want a bit of a change up!
