Spotty Skin

Hi all,

I am hoping to find other people to relate to, or even better get some tips!

I am soon to be 35 and my skin is absolutely horrendous still. I never grew out of the spotty teenage phase and it really gets me down. I look absolutely awful without makeup. Red, blotchy, whiteheads, big spots under the skin. I go through phases for sure, but even if I don’t have proper spots my skin is just awful and is so embarrassing :(
I cleanse and moisturise and use a serum every day. By Cerave.

Can anyone relate or does anyone have any tips?!

Same here, I've been using the Weleda face balm gel stuff in the green tube for cleansing, and Weleda baby lotion (mallow) for moisturising, and my skin has never been better. Even on my period I only had one spot which is UNHEARD OF 😅 I've stopped wearing any makeup way before this, and usually just use Malibu face sunscreen (looking for a better one though, it's just needed using up).

Also I'm making a huge conscious effort not to touch my face.. it's a simple thing but it really helps. The Weleda stuff is absolutely effective though.

See your GP.

I can definitely relate, god its awful. I feel like I’m constantly trying to walk the fine line between keeping my skin clean to avoid spots whilst not over drying it so it produces more oil. Aargh! Also using Cereve (gentle one) morning and evening and Cereve moisturiser and Roche posay for factor 50. I got down about it this week and went to gp, they have given me some anti B tablets and lotion… only a few days in so too early to tell but am hopeful it might help. Do you think your gp might help?
