Help needed, hen do

Hi. I'm going to a hen do where we are going out in the evening. There is a brief, sparkles and summer (bright colours, sequins etc).
I'm struggling as my style is quite grungy (jeans or baggy trousers, vans or converse with teeshirts/shirts) and I haven't been on a night out in forever unless it's the pub! I'm also over 40 (the oldest one there) and a bit flabby after having a baby. Size 14ish (pear shaped 12 on top, nearing 16 on bottom).
Any ideas welcome! 😃

If you search ‘sequins’ on the Free People site, there are countless lovely options, though lots of them aren’t cheap. This is nice and easy to wear - with maybe a satin skirt or palazzo trousers:

Alternatively, this could be a brilliant budget option over a vest:

I think I would do one sparkle/summer colour element with your usual grunge look e.g. this sparkle top with black jeans/converse, or this skirt with a tshirt. Maybe some sparkle element to your makeup to tie it together?

OMG thank you! Hadn't even thought to look at Zara but that fits the brief perfectly. I also like the idea of a sparkly top or skirt with jeans or t shirt...my problem us whatever I wear looks a bit grungy even when I try not to be! The others going are all very insta conscious and although I don't feel the need to look the same, I don't want to stick out like a sore thumb either! I will explore those options further, thanks so much, I was starting to feel like I couldn't see the wood for the trees!
