Highlights advice on damage

I've been having regular highlights for a few years and my hair is breaking so I have been doing lots of deep conditioning and using less heat on my hair, I think I may be going through perimenopause and my b12 is low. I have some greys coming through so I'm looking advice if I should continue with highlights as I do want to eventually grow out my greys although this could still take a number of years or should I do an all over colour but I don't want to go to dark has anyone been in this situation thank you

Not me, but my friend was in similar situation. She started reducing the number of highlights she got and slowly let the grey come through. She’s now fully grey and it was done so naturally and looks great.

my hairdresser told me that applying too many products with protein can damage hair and best thing for it is weekly treatments and reduce heat, which is great that you’re already doing! :)
