Linen trouser recommendations please

I need some help please, I am looking for a pair of linen trousers that don’t shrink when washed. I had a lovely burgundy pair last year which became 3/4 length when washed. I replaced them with a striped pair this year, which were touching the floor. I washed them on 30degree wash without a spin and then now sit just above my ankle! Is the answer to buy a pair in long length (I am 5’5) and allow for shrinkage, or does anyone have some they would recommend please?

I have M&S and I’ve washed and worn them about 3-5 times so far and no shrinkage.

Mine came from Tesco.and haven't shrunk.

@reversegear and @LoafofSellotape perhaps that was my mistake, too impatient to wait for M&S online to start working again, so I ordered elsewhere. I shall take a look, but it might be dangerous, I never end up with just 1 thing in my basket!

@xSideshowAuntSallyXx thank you, another option there, I had a look at Tesco clothing last week after seeing some nice things on a few reels, but pretty much everything was out of stock so everyone must have had the same idea.

M&S are excellent. Have worn and washed a few times now (I don’t tumble dry)

I suspect that some manufacturers pre wash their fabric before making clothing , I have bought linen trousers from next, monsoon ,H&M and a few places and never had any shrinkage.

@Taxiparent they currently have some sizes online (very limited sizes mind).

Good luck.. you could always try Vinted for M&S as well. I’ve just found a few Reiss Tshirts (worn) and some nice hush linen trousers on there new with tags
