Walking boot recommendations

About 9 months ago, I bought a pair of Scarpa Cyrex. They're already worn and I don't think they can be resoled. I walk the dog for about 45-50 mins each morning and it's usually on the moor, so relatively rugged underfoot. About once or twice a week, I do a long walk (maybe a couple of hours) as well as my morning walk.

Ideally, I'd spend £100-150 but could spend more if it avoided having to replace them every 9 months. A friend recommended Sorel and I thought I'd found some in the sale, but I delayed and now they're out of stock in my size.

Anyone got any suggestions? Need to be waterproof and warm and ideally under £150.

TIA

That’s no time at all for boots to last

i tend to replace walking shoes about once a year ( similar or a bit more mileage per week ) / they are merrels I think - unless it’s steep and rough ground I use shoes in the dry - expect to pay around d 120

for boots I use altberg which can be resoled usually twice. These last years but probably average at 1 or 2 all day walks a week - way over your budget even allowing for the extended use as a result of resoles

Boots are such an individual thing depending on your feet! Mine are wide at the toes, I find Berghaus suits me and last ages. I’ve also got Merrell walking shoes which are good for less rough walking but still waterproof.

I'd be returning those. Scarpa Terra are amazing.
