Help! graduation dress needed

Please help my daughter find a graduation dress. She is 5’4’’, Indian, size 8. Ideally, she would like a white, fitted but not bodycon midi dress. Budget is about £150. Thank you!

I can't help with dress suggestions (complete fashion numpty), but if she is wearing it for her own graduation, and will be wearing a gown and hood etc, try to avoid very thin and/or silky fabrics.
I sometimes work on graduations for a company that hires the gowns, and they are quite heavy, with a lot of gathered weight in the back of the shoulders, and on a silky dress fabric the gown tends to slide backwards and then the front part of the hood rides up under your chin. If you plan to pin the gown or hood to the dress to stop this, it can make holes in thin fabrics.

Anyone? Any help much appreciated.

Is a white dress allowed as part of the dress code? Normally it is black or a dark colour (in any university I’ve worked in anyway)

It looked great under the gown with the contrast, And she didn’t boil alive, unlike some of the other girls on a super hot day
