Lash Lift after 2 weeks

I had a lash lift for the first time two weeks ago and it looked amazing. But now it's starting to look a bit messy. I'll post pics, but they're not great quality unfortunately - can't get it to focus!
The lady I went to has been doing lash lifts for at least 5 years and is well reviewed. I'm a bit worried it will get worse as the new lashes grow! Those who have / had lash lifts... Do you just put up with the messiness in the in-between stage? I have been using the recommended serum twice per day btw, brushing them out as best I can.

Are these pics before and after or after and now ? What are we looking at?

Sorry, it's each eye today, 2 weeks after the lash lift. The lashes are starting to stick out in different directions, which I gather is normal as the untreated lashes start to grow back, but I'm worried how much worse it might get because it is starting to look quite messy!

Your lashes look perfectly fine. With no original photo to compare, I cannot comment on how successful the lift was.

No I was really pleased with the success of the lift, there was (and is) a dramatic difference! But as the new ones grow back, it's all looking a bit kind of skew-whiff. You can't really tell from the pictures as it wouldn't focus unfortunately

Yeah that's what happens to mine after a couple of weeks it's kind of put me off as it takes a while for them to go back to normal and mascara doesn't sit on the lashes properly. It seems like it only lasts a couple of weeks before they go all wonky!

thearchers · 16/06/2025 22:16

Mine usually look really good for around 2-3 weeks, then as the new lashes start to grow they do go a bit wonky. Did she tell you all the correct aftercare advice? No steam for 48 hours, keep them dry for 24 hours, keep brushing them up with a spoolie for the first 24 hours as they are still processing. Also try hard not to sleep on your face for the first couple of nights as they can get squashed!
I am always very ready to have them re done after 6 weeks or so, usually try and stretch to 7 or 8 but they look very scrappy by then.

I think lash lifts are a bit of a waste of time unless you have very long eyelashes.

Game0fCrones · 16/06/2025 22:28

This is why i no longer have lash lifts.

Great for a week then shit for a month. No thanks.

I only ever have them done before a summer holiday as they make my eyes look better even without makeup. Then I just accept a few weeks of needing to be extra good with my eyelash curlers once i am home
