Wedding guest dress

I'm going to a push summer wedding in a very posh location. I have started losing some weight but still off my target. I'd say I'm somewhere between an 18 and 20 now that I have lost around 3st.
I have seen this dress and fallen in love. It may not suit me with where the waist is but it is totally unstable anyway because it is black? I would accessorise with silver or maybe pink?

Thank you!

Personally it's too nightdress for a wedding and yes, too black

Congrats on your weight loss - huge achievement.

Gorgeous dress - but pricey if you are continuing to lose weight?

Could you swap out the black bow for another bright colour maybe pink?

Have you looked at hiring designer dresses (John Lewis, Selfridges etc) - costs about £60 for 4 days hire (that includes postage both ways). JL allow you to return within 24hrs if it doesnt suit or fit. I think for Selfridges you can go and try them all on in store and then book out the one you want.

I am on a WL journey - have lost 2 stone - so half way. I am having so much fun buying occassion dresses from charity shops (in posh areas) - which I will donate back after they become too big for me! Occassion dresses are always top designer brands and in perfect condition as only worn the once. I worn a Rixo one to a wedding today that retailed at £400 and I bought for £15 - it was stunning.
