For what occasion?

Silver is classic with blue
Lime green or bright pink for more contrast

WTHJH · 15/06/2025 09:52

What is the statement you would like your earrings to make?

You haven’t said whether it’s for an interview or a wedding, or just for everyday wear?

caffelattecinammon · 15/06/2025 09:57

Sorry, it’s a wedding

Silver might work

Won’t be wearing a hat so just though some nice earrings might work, it’s for a wedding
I did see these in Oliver Bonas but was unsure

I'd go for all accessories in silver. Maybe a modern looking bag with some texture like Dune Expression.

WTHJH · 15/06/2025 10:38

I don’t think those earrings work with the vibe of the dress. Needs something plainer and more expensive looking.

Shoes …? Something like these?

Penelope Chilvers pink

Which would then suggest maybe a pink and blue and your-hair-coloured straw bag.

Found these sandals in my wardrobe, could these work?

I agree leopard works with blue but it’s better with navy rather than the bright blue of your dress. If you do want to wear them, go for a chocolate brown bag rather than another leopard item. And you’d want gold toned jewellery. I’m not convinced with that bright blue.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 15/06/2025 13:12

I think no to the shoes, sorry. Personally, I'd probably just go with white or cream shoes and then maybe a bright beaded bag with some blue in it. This sort of thing

White/cream shoes would look very eighties. What about tan/nude heels? I do love statement earrings but if thats all you are having accessory wise then they need to be properly bold and you need to style your hair so they are visible. I dont think the earrings and shoes you have posted compliment the dress ( which is lovely by the way).

Re are earrings - what about big (fake!) sapphire/diamonds ? Maybe a chandelier type drop?

There are loads of white/cream sandals around. And when I checked my calendar, it doesn't seem to be the 80s.

I’d go for silver and bold, block colours to hold their own against the block of blue. Maybe a bracelet like this silver cuff:

Big bold silver earrings:

White shoes/sandals with that would look great.

Team with a block white clutch, something like this:

I think white/cream with that colour blue though is a very 80s vibe thats all.

Maybe. The dress colour is itself very 80s. It's not a colour I like tbh, but I do think white or cream would be fine - better than nude imo.
