Best place to sell a Hermès Birkin?

I have a Hermès Birkin 35 black leather handbag in excellent condition, with the original fabric dust bag, padlock bag, rain protection covers (unused), and the original box.

I’m looking for advice on the best place to sell it?

I have seen some online sites (and completed a form with the Handbag Clinic - who offered me a reasonable price but wanted it sent to them and I would only be paid once they sell it. So I feel a bit uneasy not having the bag or the money and no timeline). Im close to London and happy to travel in to any suitable shops/sellers.

Love Luxury? The flipping TikToks are all over my feed atm (my fault I know for binge watching)! You go in store (Knightsbridge) and they make you an offer - either to buy outright or sell on consignment. Assuming it’s a bit more expensive/you may get a little less than if you got lots of quotes and sent off for authentication elsewhere, but a colleague used them to sell another bag (not Birkin) and was fairly impressed.

You will have to send the bag before you receive payment.

It's normal practise to be paid only once the bag is sold. If you want cash up front, your best bet is to sell it to somewhere like Posh Pawn or others that buy bags for cash. However, in these instances, you won't get as good a price.

https://www.npnbags.co.uk/ has a v. good reputation. Otherwise, I have had very good experiences with ReSee. They're based in Paris but have a lot of clients in London. They will collect your item for you too.

I’ve had good results with Vestiare - and you keep your bag until it’s sold. They cover all the shipping etc. Last time I sold was before Covid and Brexit, though so it may be a little different now.

I have a 30cm birkin togo black for sale. Its brand new 2025. Never used. I tried Sothebys but they were useless. Am not sure where to sell it. Its such a lovely bag

Not being intentionally daft but can't you just use it?
Or are they like Rolex where people who are lucky enough to get one sell them immediately in search of profit?

As another poster has said, Love Luxury are always popping up on social media. They seem to know their onions.....or bags!
