Non-plain T-shirts

I’m struggling to find T-shirts I like. I normally wear plain colours but fancy a couple of T-shirts with a motif or interesting pattern. The problem, I find, is that most have silly text on it or horrible patterns, or are v frumpy.

If you normally like plain colours but have a non-plain T-shirt you love, where did you get it from? I’m getting desperate.

There's a lot of stripes in this summer which suits me fine!
I agree about silly text, I'm closer to 50 than 5, I don't want random slogans on my tops.
Suggestions of places to try: Trespass, Fatface, Seasalt, Cotton Traders (treading a fine line to frumpy but odd items are ok, I have a great cotton & linen mix top from their outlet), supermarkets, Weird Fish, Brakeburn

I have bought some printed ones with repeating patterns from Sugarhill Brighton this summer. I think they also have stripey ones too.

I like these very much - fabulous quality, pure cotton, and don’t fade. (But be aware they’re not a fashionable cropped shape.)
