Shorts that don't ride up?

Any recommends for shorts that don't ride up between your thighs? Only ones I've found that sit are denim ones which are a bit heavy for very hot weather. I don't even have hugely chunky thighs anymore but shorts still seem to want to move up!! I'm 54 and size 10-12. I used to love cycling shorts in my distant youth but sadly those days have gone!

Just try a bigger size instead. I've lost some weight and my shorts have stopped riding up as they are now a looser fit.

It’s definitely not a size issue. My current shorts are on the loose side and I have a smaller size and it happens with both. I just have thighs that move together unfortunately.

If you have thighs that rub at the top it’s inevitable that shorts will ride up. You don’t even need to have fat thighs. Just the way some people’s legs are positioned. Just like some proper wife set legs.

denim is better as it’s denser. Thin cotton shorts scrunch way up.

if you go much longer like a Bermuda short sometimes the weight of the fabric holds it down like trousers do.
