Best BB cream?

I’m in my early 50s and don’t know if foundation suits me any longer. But I do have Garniers BB cream which I love and often prefer over expensive foundations.

Im running out of it. Before I repurchase, I wonder if there are better BB creams out there?

I quite like the Hourglass Veil hydrating skin tint, it's like a BB cream,
but I'm not sure it has the staying power that the price commands. Even if I apply their primer. It does feel lovely on but even if I moisturise the heck out of my face before applying, it doesn't last.

Hm, if that’s the case I’m not sure it’s for me. I wouldn’t want to have to reapply it.

I really like the L’Oréal CC cream, but have recently been looking for an alternative as want to start using products that don’t test on animals.

I’ve just started using the Eborian bb cream after seeing it recommended so many times on these threads and I really like it! Nice consistency, nice fresh coverage. Really pleased

I was hoping someone would say eborian bb cream - I'm so tempted. Someone even said they've used it as a primer before and it works well for that.

Erborian. I love the stuff, and the CC Cream.

I like the Lisa Eldridge skin tint. Erborian went very orange on me unfortunately.

What’s the difference between BB and CC creams?

I use the Garnier light and have done for years, it suits my slightly yellowy skin tone. However, I’m trying to find one that will suit my pale faced pink toned daughter. Any ideas?

I like the Nars tinted moisturiser - have recommended that to a few friends that now use it. Also has SPF 30 which is a nice addition.

Good point - it was the CC that was orange on me too (also pale). Might try the BB sometime.

Erborian CC, I find BB too thick. The light is too pale and dark too orange, so I just bought 2 and mix them depending on how tanned I am.

Erborian is amazing.
I too find Doree too dark/orange and the other too pale. I wish they did an in between colour.

Erborian BB cream or IT Cosmetics CC - they are totally different. If you have a SpaceNK, Boots, JL etc go for a sample or ask them to try it on you before you make an expensive mistake in case you don’t like it.

@WhoAteTheLastBrownie give it a try, buy 2 and mix as you wish - works well and of course they last twice as long. For summer, I mix also cc cream with cc water.

Just bought Erborian BB and it’s amazing. I also use Armani Luminous silk foundation, but I much prefer the finish of Erborian.
