Returning worn items

I’m going on a trip tomorrow and need some sports shorts. I can’t find mine anywhere (we’ve recently moved). I ordered a new pair and they’ve just arrived. I mistakenly ordered a size M instead of S. They aren’t huge, but are definitely a too big and I need size S.

It’s too late to return them and I will have to wear them on the trip. No chance of going to a shop before or during the trip.

Do I have any options to return or exchange them once I return? Once I’ve worn them, that’s it isn’t it :/ Apart from Vinted, is there anything else I can do?

They were £50 😩

You can’t return worn items. (Unless they are faulty).

I have a friend who removes tags carefully, wears items, then returns them - people do do it, probably a lot more than you realise

I have noticed a lot of brands shaming customers on social media when sending back clearly worn clothes.

Yeah and then some poor fucker ends up being sent them in an online order.

I can’t believe you’re asking this. Surely you can’t think for even a moment that you could wear these sports shorts, then launder or not launder, and send them back for a refund ?? Grim.

Only if you want to buy shorts worn by someone else for full price in a shop?!
