Any recommendations welcome from those who have found supportive strapless bras that stay put on the larger bust.

I’m 36F and never found one. For me, braless or pretty straps (depending on dress/top) are the only practical options.

Fannyy · 11/06/2025 06:22

There isn't one so I had a breast reduction instead. Omg. Life changing.

There was another thread about this very very recently where I also proposed this and everybody said I was wrong and gave some helpful suggestions. Within the last year if you have a scroll back.

You could try Bravissimo or my new favourite, Rigby and Peller but I think a strapless bra for a large bust has never really been designed.

I am a 34g/h and love the curvy Kate luxe strapless bra. I am pretty saggy and it gives a brilliant lift annd shape, it is comfortable enough fot me to wear for a full day wear.

Wonderbra Ultimate - tight in the back though so try several sizes

PeopleWillAlwaysNeedPlates · 11/06/2025 14:39

How large?

I'm a 32JJ and they don't exist for me. The closest I've ever got was the Curvy Kate Smoothie but it has to be incredibly tight in the band and will still drop a bit throughout the day / night.

Prima Donna is expensive (although good % off in sales) but excellent.

Seaoftroubles · 12/06/2025 00:03

@PeopleWillAlwaysNeedPlates Not massive, l am
36 DD/ E depending on the bra but quite saggy now. Just fed up with the dents in my shoulders, seemingly from all bras so thought l'd try strapless.

MELENECA Women's Strapless Bras... https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0897HGT95?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

This worked for me in a 42D

ChaosDream · 12/06/2025 00:44

I’m 36DD and wonderbra ultimate is the one for me. As a PP said it can feel a bit tight in the back at first

KatharinaRosalie · 12/06/2025 05:39

OP, have you had a fitting recently? If you have dents, it sounds like the straps are doing too much work. Most of the support should come from the band, you might need a tighter band. Check what this calculator says: https://www.abrathatfits.org/calculator.php

As @KatharinaRosalie says, when were you last fitted? My breasts are likely much heavier than yours but I don’t get shoulder dents. They are an indication that your band is too loose. Unless you are a dress size 18 or bigger then it’s unlikely you are a 36 back. I’m a size 16 and a 32.
