I’m 49 and need a dress for a black tie event. I need it to be long to cover my varicose veins but also covered enough for me to wear a bra. I’m a winter so bold colours with blue undertones suit me best. Really struggling to find anything that isn’t too frumpy! I used to love shopping… Confused

Hi OP, it might help if you gave your height, size and body shape as well (pear, apple, hourglass etc). The ladies on here are pretty fantastic at coming up with ideas but they’ll probably have better match rates if they knew this info also 🙂.

Oh ok, thank you! 5'6". Small on top (28E bra) but size 12 bottom. Slim boned so big patterns are awful on me. Not much shape (straight up and down ish). Thank you

@jeaux90I love this but think it would swamp me. Something similar maybe without sleeves would be perfect. A wrap really suits me.
