Estee Lauder - on a budget!

I recently had a mini facial at Estée Lauder and a foundation colour match. It was lovely and I had a real glow when the lady had finished. It was the look that I’d always wanted to achieve but never actually got there.

So here’s the thing, if I bought the skincare products it would be £££ which I really cannot justify. Has anyone used or discovered similar but on a budget? She used:

Eye makeup remover (bought this, it’s fab).
Cleansing balm
Advanced Repair eye cream
Advanced Night Repair serum
Revitalising Supreme +bright moisturiser
Daywear Sheer Tint release moisturiser

Thanks @Britpopbaby . That has been my usual Go To so I will look out for that.

Tbh, I like the Estee Lauder serum , I mix it with my foundation BUT at night I use CeraVe lotion followed by Vit E oil patted on afterwards, don't tell Estée but it's far superior for my sensitive skin 😉

Nothing compares as good as EL, I’d had a break for a while and tried various other brands but coming back to EL I’d forgotten how good in comparison it is. I buy direct from the website when they have skincare gift sets on offer.

Thanks all. I am tapping up DH to buy me the half price set for my birthday 😉

He’s agreed! (Catching him after he’d been out for lunch with one of his mates helped 😉🍺🍺🍺)

Haven't ever bought the full sized Advance Night Repair serum but I've had a number of the 5ml ones in advent calendars and boxes and it's lovely and lasts well. Maybe I should look for a deal. I'm a believer in serum as worth investing in.

Hi everyone, a quick update.

DH actually prompted me to order the EL set for my birthday which I have done. I also got their powder foundation (loved this) which in turn entitled me to order their Summer Glow set for £25 which has got really good travel sizes, and whilst completing my order I was able to choose several additional samples, all of which will be great for my holiday. DH said he was going to suggest to my mum that she gets me the Summer Glow set for my birthday as she always asks him what to get me.

And I got 15% off the foundation as it was my first order!

All in all I am absolutely thrilled, so thanks to everyone on this thread who urged me to get the EL rather than trying to go for anything cheaper. Also to @Buxusmortus who suggested signing up for the website. Here's to finally finding a skincare range that suits (and at 62 that's no mean feat😁).

Their website always has offers on, and you can get on their loyalty scheme. I've often piggybacked multiple offers plus loyalty status to get a lot more for a lot less!

Encourage people who buy for you to let you order it and pay you back so you can use the loyalty scheme and get points 🤣

NeedWineNow · 11/06/2025 16:09

Good plan @SaveMeFromMyBoobs !

Another useful tip on the website - if you're ordering several items and have more than one code for free gifts etc, check to see if it's worth splitting your order into several orders. This is because they only allow one code per order. Each order then also gets free samples. You can do up to 3 orders on the same day I think.

DidILeaveTheGasOn · 11/06/2025 17:59

I love that it all worked out! I've ordered the half price set and I'm trying not to go and look at everything you mentioned there @NeedWineNow ! So tempted!

Buxusmortus · 11/06/2025 18:18

The website also sells refills for certain skincare products so that can save you money too.
I sound like I work for them! ( I don't btw).

NeedWineNow · 11/06/2025 18:45

@Buxusmortus Great tips, thank you!

@DidILeaveTheGasOn Thank you, I'm really pleased. The Summer Glow set looks fab so I was glad to be able get it. So many lovely things on the website. Looking forward to the Christmas gift sets coming in later in the year - I know what'll be on my Christmas list or on my sales lookout list!
