Help 50th birthday dress!

I'm having a party in a few weeks for the big 50. I really want to look fab but no idea what to wear. It's at home but figured its my party so can be fairly dressy! I suit (and would love to wear) a gold colour as long as not shiny! Or maybe tulle skirt and top? Am short 5' 2ish and size ten and fairly hourglass shape. Any fashionistas able to help?

thank you Moier. I like the last one but dont suit one shoulder generally. looking for something a bit more than the first and the second just isnt me. there is a dress on Club L that i really like but its too much for a party at home!

For a start OP you need to obviously buy something that will fit the shorter lady (you're a whole half inch taller than me) something petite. How about something with a halterneck and a strapless bra. I'm nearly 50. Same dress size. Looking at the suggestions I dress a bit young for my age but yeah. Definitely need a dress cut for a shorter woman and I'd also not wear anything long. I find that style swamps me. Oh and happy birthday
