What jackets do younger teen girls wear?

My daughter is nearly 13, she is quite particular about what she wears and isn't so far massively into trends but I don't want her to end up with something she would be considered "uncool" in 😆

She has a fluffy gilet and a denim jacket so thinking of something else for those in between types of weather days - when she was little she lived in those lined showerproof jackets so feel like she needs something similar but more grown up?

What are girls wearing? If I ask her she will just "I dunno" at me!

Ask her

you will get no more accurate answer than her answer

Say that if she doesnt answer, you’ll pop to Asda and pick her up one from there

She basically won't be having one if I ask her!! She will literally say she doesn't know.

The reason I was asking was cos sometimes we are out and she is cold or whatever but her current things aren't suitable.

Was just hoping to get some guidance on what is "in" so I can help guide her - was hoping some mumsnetters with young teenagers might help but never mind 🤷🏼‍♀️

Mine's older but has always worn hoodies in in-between weather.

My 13 year old DD won’t be seen dead in a coat.
I bought a NF jacket last year. It’s been on her twice. She’d rather get soaked and freeze
