Recent buys/some inspiration please.

What have you bought recently? I would love to see and perhaps get some inspiration.

I have recently lost five stone and saved up a fair amount of money to put towards not a full new wardrobe as I do have some bits that fit but would love some lovely new outfits/bits.

I am now a 12/14 (more 14) was a size 20/22. I weigh 78kg and am 5ft3 and have a 36E bust. (If it's relevant!)

I am doing a personal shopper experience in John Lewis Manchester next week but not expecting an awful lot from it to be honest with you more an interesting experience and perhaps something I would normally just walk past to try on as inspiration.

Bought recently?

An older version of this jumper, doesn’t actually look much like this. Longer and more oversized with buttons at the neck - had been on the website for ages so was on sale just when I suddenly wanted a stripy jumper:

These - I don’t even know what they’re called. Waiting to return as too small. I’d prefer boots all year round - but have to bow to the weather occasionally. (And I see they’re now on sale everywhere.)

I know it's bought- unfortunately I didn't used to and now my auto correct likes to amend to it.

Great length for flat shoes/ trainers. They just brush the floor on me and I'm 5 foot 5. I find jeans size confusing but size 29 fits me perfectly as a 12.

I did buy them s/h as I'm challenging myself not to buy new.

Oh love them.
It's on my to try on list a decent pair of jeans in a shape that aren't skinny!

I've just noticed they're 50% off on the outnet now. So £140.

Well done on losing all that weight @NoseyParker000. I'm in a similar position & am currently in the process of buying some smaller trousers.
I've just bought these Zara trousers in brown linen having seen them on Melissa Murrell this morning. I have a very similar khaki version & they fit perfectly.
Plus a brown crochet cardigan from H&M which I'm hoping will go together. Every year H&M bring out some great Cotton pointelle knits which seems to sell out super quickly.

I got this dress in New Look the other day, I am a pear shape so the sleeves and neckline work really well for me and its a nice material.

I also got some of the wide leg Adalae jeans which again area a lovely fit and nice soft material.

I met up with an old school friend .
We went mad in river island... l love everything l bought here in the photos.
5ft 7 .. size 16 ( from a size 28 last year) age 66.

Did you go to the John lewis personal style and did you think it was worth it? Considering going myself
