Bra help please!!!! A bit urgent too 😢

Hi. I am at a wedding next week and need a bra for under this dress. The bra in the photo is a elomi matilda in 38h. I love these bras but obviously can't wear that. Can anyone point in in direction of a low cup bra that do my size? Or would boob tape work moving cups out of way? 🤔Thank you so much!!!

Can’t you just turn the edging under? If it hides it, just tack it for the day

Belladog1 · 03/06/2025 13:11

Its difficult. I too am a tad busty (I'm a FF) and most bras for larger sizes do cover most of the boob area to keep them tamed!!

Is it possible to have the dress adjusted? Maybe have a seamstress add a small extra piece of fabric to cover the bra section up? It might cost less than a new bra?

Could you try a different style of bra e.g. balcony or plunge as the cup would sit differently

MrsMoastyToasty · 03/06/2025 13:14

Would a balconette bra work? The straps are further apart on those so they rise towards the straps further out.

“most bras for larger sizes do cover most of the boob area”

How much do they cover? Could you buy some pretty edging and sew it along the top of the cups so it would show through, rather than your bra?

Sainsbury’s do one at least in and because I’m wearing it today. Order online for delivery to Argos

Bravissimo, they are so so good. They will have something suitable, and likely more than one option.

This. I had to do this with the bra I wore under my wedding dress. No need to faff round buying new underwear!

I would take my oldest fitting bra and slice off the visible bit. It'll still be wearable for other things.
Dress looks like it's lovely @Coco321 !

Curvy Kate via brastop good for plunge bras in big cup sizes

bridgetreilly · 03/06/2025 20:04

I’m another who would just get out the needle and thread for the day.

Oceangrey · 03/06/2025 21:47

Bravissimo Satine or Niya. Satine is a bit more pointy and Niya more rounded.

Thank you all so much! Lots of ideas there. Appreciate your suggestions x
